What We Believe

Salvation

We cannot make ourself right by any means. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness that you can be saved from sin’s penalty, eternal death. Eternal life begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life by faith. – Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, John 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1

Water Baptism

It doesn’t save you. It is a public witness of your prior acceptance of Salvation and a declaration of your commitment to the family of Christ.
Acts 16:31-34, 1 Peter 3:21, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 1:9, 1 John 2:3, Acts 2:38-41, Acts 8:12, Romans 10:9, Acts 10:47-48, Matthew 3:16, Mark 1:10, Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 6:3-5

Family

Our leaders are those who agree with God’s definition of family. God has set aside the image of a father (male) and mother (female) of children. However, the family can look very diverse. This sets the tone for family, discipleship, church, and leaders in ministry. Gen 2:24, 1 Cor 7:2-5

Core Beliefs

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, And sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From there he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost; The Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins; The Resurrection of the body, And the Life everlasting. Amen.

Communion

The bread symbolizes Christ’s body and the wine His blood. We also believe that the Holy Spirit may show His presence in observance of our communion time. Once a month during our Sunday service we honor Christ by observing communion. Communion is open to everyone who knows Christ as their Savior. Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor 11:26, Matt 10:17

Holy Spirit

(FIRE) BAPTISM
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a promise from God to all believers. The initial evidence might be seeing the gifts of the Holy Spirit. – Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:1-7, I Corinthians 11:23, I Corinthians 11:26
